Background

Leah completed her LLB at the University of Kent with First Class Honours.

She is a Benefactors Scholar and Blackstone Entrance Exhibitioner of Middle Temple. Leah went on to complete the LLM Bar Practice Training Course at the University of Law with Distinction. Her LLM component focused on International Human Rights and International Arbitration and she subsequently became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Leah was a Senior Paralegal at a law firm predominantly working on high-profile public inquiries and police work. She also volunteered at the South Westminster Legal Advice Centre which provides free legal advice to members of the public.

During the Bar Course, Leah acted as the Equality, Diversity and Social Mobility Officer for the Middle Temple Students’ Association and provided pro bono legal advice to prisoners through the Intervene Project.
