Background

Harry is a Gray’s Inn Scholar. He achieved a distinction in the PGDL at the University of Law. He read History and English at the University of Oxford.

Prior to the Bar, Harry served in the UK Armed Forces. He commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, graduating first in a cohort of 270. He was awarded the Sword of Honour. He served for eleven years, the majority of which was spent leading specialised teams on global operations, leaving as a major.

During his service, Harry was selected as a military secondee to a leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) company, advising on the use of AI to improve the UK Government’s national competitive advantage. He was sponsored to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Leadership and Strategic Studies, writing his dissertation on conceptions of ‘lawfare.’

During his legal studies, Harry won the University of Law Speed Moot. He worked part-time for a national security venture capital fund. He was appointed by the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice as a member of the Independent Monitoring Boards (IMB) at Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre. He represented appellants in Social Security Tribunals through the Free Representation Unit (FRU) and served as a subject matter expert to a major public inquiry.
