The inquest into the death of Thomas Orchard resumes

7 November 2023

On the 6th November 2023 the inquest into the death of Thomas Orchard resumed in Exeter. Mr. Orchard died following police contact in October 2012. The inquest follows criminal and disciplinary proceedings, and is expected to conclude in December 2023. Alison Hewitt and Amy Clarke are instructed by the Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall Police and Barney Branston is instructed by Serco.
