Public hearings in the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry have resumed this week following the successful completion of the first phase which investigated the human impact of the scandal earlier this year.
The Chair of the Inquiry, Sir Wyn Williams, will begin to hear evidence next week in the second phase of the Inquiry concerning the procurement, design and development, pilot and testing and the acceptance and roll out of the Horizon IT system.
The Inquiry will be hearing from former employees of the Post Office and of Fujitsu, as well as the senior officials and government ministers who were serving at the time when the viability of the Horizon IT system was reviewed by government in the late 1990s.
Jason who is described as having “impeccable judgement” and being “unbeatable on the law” (Chambers UK) is Leading Counsel to the Inquiry. Catriona is Junior Counsel to the Inquiry alongside Julian Blake and Ruth Kennedy of 11KBW and Sam Stevens of 2 Temple Gardens.
