This week 5 Essex Chambers hosted the first training session on the Absolute Rights in European Convention of Human Rights in collaboration with The Human Rights Lawyers Association (HRLA).
Barristers Saara Idelbi and Edmund Garnett spoke to an audience of lawyers about the important topic of The Absolute Convention Rights. They introduced Articles 2 – 4 ECHR, touched upon the complexities which can arise in practice and provided an update on this critical area of law. The training was followed by a vibrant Q&A session and networking in the historic setting of The Honourable Society of Inner Temple.
