Victoria von Wachter successfully defends a multifaceted claim stretching over some 17 years and involving 19 allegations of direct and indirect discrimination, and harassment on grounds of race and religion. The Claimant was a Muslim officer of Arabic origin who brought his claim after he had been dismissed for matters relating to honesty and integrity. Incidents of considerable antiquity were raised by the Claimant as general support for his assertion that he had been singled out for detrimental treatment over a period of years despite that no grievance had ever been lodged. All claims failed on grounds that the matters complained of amounted to no more than routine management activity.
