Victoria von Wachter represented Hampshire Police in a police disciplinary hearing involving a Domestic Abuse Court Team (DACT) member found to have pursued an improper emotional relationship with a domestic violence victim by engaging in disproportionate telephone and text messaging both on and off duty from his work and private telephone. The officer was also found to have improperly accessed police computer data and then breaching confidentiality by disclosing the information acquired to an unauthorised person. The Disciplinary Panel found that the Officer was guilty of Gross Misconduct.
