Victoria von Wachter is successful in recent trial on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary

13 July 2023

Victoria von Wachter successfully defended the Chief Constable of Lancashire Constabulary in a seven day trial.

The Claimant officer alleged disability arising from depression, anxiety and PTSD – all stemming from an incident involving criminal action. The allegations of direct disability discrimination stretched back over some five years and presented considerable evidential challenges. Also claimed was discrimination for something arising from disability and failure to make reasonable adjustments.

All claims were dismissed.
