The inquest into the death of Jack Ritchie begins today at Sheffield Coroner’s Court. Jack tragically died in 2017 and the two week inquest will examine the role of gambling in his death, as well as the system of gambling regulation and the treatment and support available to treat gambling disorders.
Amy Clarke is instructed on behalf of GamCare, an independent charity which provides information, advice and support for anyone affected by problem gambling. Other Interested Persons include GambleAware, the Gambling Commission, the Department for Health and Social Care and the Department for Digital Culture, Media and Sport.
