Robert Cohen has been appointed as an Assistant Coroner for Cumbria. He will work closely with the Senior Coroner as well as conducting his own investigations and inquests.
Robert will continue to practise from 5 Essex Chambers in his core practice areas, including appearing in and advising on complex inquests, and representing police forces across the country. He has extensive experience in a range of civil matters, public inquiries and related public law challenges. Robert is recognised as a leading practitioner in Police Law and Inquests and Inquiries by both Chambers UK and The Legal 500 and is a member of the Attorney General’s C Panel of Counsel.
