Report from Module 3 of Covid Inquiry published

The Rt Hon the Baroness Hallett DBE, Chair of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry, has now published her inquiry report for Module 3. Module 3 explored the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare systems in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This included consideration of the healthcare consequences of how the governments and the public responded to the pandemic, as well as examining the capacity of healthcare systems to respond to a pandemic.

A number of members of chambers were involved:

• Jason Beer KC and Claire Palmer were instructed by NHS England.
• Anne Studd KC, Rob Harland, Cicely Hayward, and Catriona Hodge were instructed by the Cabinet Office.
• Samantha Leek KC and Amy Clarke were instructed by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, The Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and The Association of Anaesthetists.
• Bilal Rawat KC and Lissy Verrall-Withers are instructed on behalf of the UK Health Security Agency.
