Background

Kieron Spoors studied at the University of Cambridge, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law. 

He was awarded the David Thompson Prize from Homerton College for graduating with a First Class result. During his undergraduate studies, Kieron had several mooting successes, such as winning the Cambridge University Human Rights Law Society Moot in 2020. In 2021, he was one of sixteen semi-finalists to reach the final in BPP’s Advocate of the Year competition.

Kieron completed the BTC with LLM at BPP Law School (Holborn) with a Distinction, having previously been awarded BPP’s Career Commitment Scholarship. For his LLM, he examined recent and proposed changes to protest law.

Before starting his pupillage, Kieron spent over two years working in the hospitality team at Gray’s Inn, most recently responsible for the food service at summer events. Kieron has also been a moot coach at the Inn and has had a piece on legitimate expectations published in the 2022 Gray’s Inn Student Journal.
