Phase 1 of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry came to a close last week, after hearing months of evidence about the tragic events of the fire on the 14th June 2017. The Inquiry will issue a report in due course on its Phase 1 findings, and any appropriate recommendations relating to fire safety.
Nine members of chambers are instructed in the Inquiry. Bilal Rawat and Alex Ustych act as Junior Counsel to the Inquiry. Jeremy Johnson QC and Amy Clarke are instructed on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Service, Anne Studd QC and John Goss are instructed on behalf of the Mayor of London, Jason Beer QC represents the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, and Jonathan Dixey and Rob Harland are instructed on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Home Department.
