The Senior Coroner for Suffolk, Mr Nigel Parsley, today held the first Pre-Inquest Review hearing of the Inquest into the death of Corrie McKeague. Corrie McKeague was a Royal Air Force Regiment gunner who went missing in the early hours of Saturday 24 September 2016 in the Bury St Edmunds area of Suffolk. Corrie was aged 23 at the time. He was reported missing after not attending work on the Monday morning. The Police investigation into Corrie’s disappearance has been reported as being one of the most expensive missing person investigations that Suffolk Constabulary has conducted. Notwithstanding the considerable publicity that the case has received, Corrie has still not been found.
