Yesterday, Module 3 of the UK COVID-19 Inquiry opened. Module 3 will explore the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare systems in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This will include consideration of the healthcare consequences of how the governments and the public responded to the pandemic, as well as examining the capacity of healthcare systems to respond to a pandemic.
Emma Price is instructed as Counsel to the Inquiry, Samantha Leek KC and Amy Clarke are instructed by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, The Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and The Association of Anaesthetists, Claire Palmer is instructed by NHS England and Bilal Rawat, Saara Idelbi and Lissy Verrall-Withers are instructed on behalf of the UK Health Security Agency.
A number of other members of Chambers are instructed for core participants in the Inquiry.
