Met Police officers sacked after posting racist, sexist and homophobic messages in a secret WhatsApp group

Two Metropolitan Police officers have been sacked over offensive messages that were shared on WhatsApp.

The model Katie Price's son, Harvey, who has learning difficulties, was also targeted for abuse by the group.

The men were two of eight serving and former officers found to have committed gross misconduct. The other six had either already resigned or been dismissed.

Dan Hobbs represented the Met Police and secured the eight findings of gross misconduct. All the officers concerned will now be placed onto the police barred list.
