Kate Cornell appointed a Recorder of the Crown Court

22 March 2018

Kate Cornell was appointed a Recorder from a pool of over 2,400 applicants in a recent selection exercise which began in February 2017. It is a significant achievement to have been selected, and Kate is delighted to add a part-time judicial aspect to her practice.

Kate will continue to practise from 5 Essex Chambers where she has an extensive police law experience. She is looking forward to developing a further insight into policing from this new judicial perspective.
