Jonathan Dixey appointed as an Assistant Coroner

13 October 2020

Jonathan Dixey has been appointed as an Assistant Coroner for Northamptonshire. He will work closely with the Senior Coroner to provide judicial leadership to the coroner team as well as conducting his own investigations and inquests. He was sworn-in on 12 October 2020 and will begin his duties with immediate effect.

Jonathan will continue to practise from 5 Essex Chambers in his core practice areas, including appearing in and advising on complex inquests, public inquiries and related public law challenges. He is recognised as a leading practitioner in Inquests and Inquiries by both Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
