Jason Beer QC and Peter Laverack called to the Bar of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and succeed in appeal to the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal

Jason Beer QC and Peter Laverack have been called to the Bar of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Jason and Peter then appeared before the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal via video link, successfully overturning a High Court decision that denied their clients the right to apply to adduce expert evidence in constitutional proceedings.

Their client​s are challenging laws that criminalise consensual sexual intimacy between adults of the same sex. Jason and Peter are intended trial counsel. They are instructed by Hogan Lovells.
