Inside Five open evening series 2025

5 Essex Chambers is delighted to host ‘Inside Five’, a series of open evenings designed to give you an insight into the pupillage process and life at a top-tier Chambers.

Inside Five will give you a unique insight into life as a pupil barrister at 5 Essex Chambers and what it is like working in our areas of practice. The panel of speakers will include:

• Beatrice Collier (a senior member of the Pupillage Committee)
• a recent pupil to share their perspectives on pupillage at 5 Essex and transitioning into tenancy
• an established junior to discuss the areas of work for early-years tenants, as well as work-life balance
• a senior-junior with experience assessing pupillage application forms and interviews, who will offer tips on how to succeed in a pupillage application

After the presentations, attendees will be able to ask questions of this range of members.

As spaces are limited for the event on 1 December in Chambers, a waiting list will be available once tickets have sold out.
