Inquest relating to death of Natalie Putt – Senior Coroner records an open verdict

The Senior Coroner for the Black Country, Mr Zafar Siddique, has reached his conclusions in the inquest touching on the death of Natalie Putt.

Natalie Putt went missing from her home on 1 September 2003 and was never seen again.  The Senior Coroner sought and obtained a direction from the Chief Coroner, HHJ Lucraft QC, under s.1(4)-(5) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 to hold an inquest. Having heard evidence on a detailed and thorough investigation by West Midlands Police, including extensive proof of life enquiries, the Senior Coroner concluded that Natalie Putt was deceased and recorded an open verdict.
