We are delighted to congratulate Emma Price on a series of recent milestones following the publication of Baby at the Bar, which she co-authored with Emma-Louise Fenelon.
Since its publication in February, the book has received widespread recognition for its contribution to the conversation around parenting at the Bar.
In May, Baby at the Bar was awarded a five-star review by the Law Society Gazette, which described it as a “vital resource” and “genuinely engaging”.
Emma and Emma-Louise also contributed a Justice Matters article to the July edition of Counsel Magazine, sharing the findings of their research and exploring why supporting those with parenting responsibilities is essential to a more inclusive legal profession.
The book has since received further recognition in the latest edition of Counsel Magazine, which features a review highlighting its impact on the profession. This article is available to subscribers now and available later this month on the Counsel Magazine website.
Building on the overwhelmingly positive response to Baby at the Bar, Emma and Emma-Louise have also announced the launch of the Baby at the Bar Network in early 2027, alongside their co-founder Lucy Kinder of 9BR Chambers.
The network will bring together barrister parents at every stage of the parenting journey, creating opportunities to build connections, share experiences and access peer support across the profession. For more information and update please complete the form on the contact page of the Baby at the Bar website.
Congratulations to Emma on these outstanding achievements. We are proud to celebrate the continued success of Baby at the Bar and look forward to seeing the positive impact of the Baby at the Bar Network in the months and years ahead.
