It was a pleasure to attend the Women and Diversity in Law Awards 2026 at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square last night. The event proved to be an inspirational evening, recognising achievements across the profession, with strong shortlists across all categories.
Congratulations to Emma Price and Paige Jones who were finalists in the Outstanding Women Practitioners category:
Paige Jones: Highly Commended
Paige Jones was Highly Commended in the Rising Star Barrister category on the night.
Paige’s recognition is well deserved. With a strong background in public law and civil liberties, Paige set the tone for her ongoing commitment to ensuring fair access to justice during her education and early career. Paige won several scholarships and awards, including the John Lennon Memorial Scholarship for academic achievement and commitment to social justice. During her time volunteering in Kenya she supported disenfranchised young people to build employability skills as well as co-founding an initiative to sensitively report on and raise awareness of gender-based violence.
Paige’s recognition as Highly Commended in the Rising Star Barrister category reflects her determination to practice law fairly and collaboratively, seeking to enhance Diversity & Inclusion whenever possible and aligns with the enduring theme of her work to redress the circumstances which put women at a high risk of violence.
The Women and Diversity in Law Awards 2026
The Women and Diversity in Law Awards celebrate women leaders and practitioners, business teams and businesses who drive meaningful change in the legal profession and beyond. The shortlist comprised individuals dedicated to creating positive impact in the UK legal industry, selected from nearly 350 entries across law firms, chambers, other businesses and not-for-profit organisations. Emma Price and Paige Jones were both well-deserving finalists, with this recognition reflecting their steadfast commitment to their busy practices and to ED&I.
