It’s a transparency double-whammy this week – as well as Experian, the IC has recently published guidance on transparency for the health and social care sector. This came out just ahead of the judgment in Experian, but at first read seems broadly consistent – it emphasises the importance of proportionality and context when determining what is required to be transparent.
It’s got plenty of helpful information for those in this sector – and arguably, for other sectors as well – as to what is both required and expected. For those who simply want a handy guide to transparency (rather than a close reading of a Tribunal judgment), this is likely to be extremely useful.
