Daniel Morgan Litigation – Jeremy Johnson QC, Charlotte Ventham and Catriona Hodge appear for the Metropolitan Police Service

The hearing of claims brought by four men arrested and charged in April 2008 in connection with the murder of Daniel Morgan began today in the Royal Courts of Justice. Claims have been brought against the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in malicious prosecution and misfeasance, as well as false imprisonment, following a criminal prosecution which concluded in March 2011. The trial of these claims is to be heard by Mr Justice Mitting
