Dan Hobbs represented the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in misconduct proceedings brought against an ex-Met Police detective who appeared in a BBC documentary.
Former Met Detective Constable David Fall was found by a misconduct panel to have carried out a litany of abuse and harassment between 2014 and 2020 while a member of the force. He was found to have abused and harassed seven of his former partners – including physically assaulting and threatening to rape two of them.
The former officer was found guilty of gross misconduct and will now be placed onto the police barred list.
