The inquest into the death of Caroline Flack finished today having taken evidence from friends and family of Ms Flack, medical practitioners who had treated her as well as the Metropolitan Police Service and Crown Prosecution Service. At the time of her death earlier this year, the former presenter of ITV's Love Island was facing a criminal trial for assault. The decision to prosecute Caroline Flack was investigated at the inquest. Bilal acted for the Crown Prosecution Service, the body responsible for that decision. In concluding that Caroline Flack had committed suicide, the coroner made no criticism of the decision.
