Saara Idelbi is appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission panel

13 June 2024

We are delighted to announce that Saara Idelbi has been appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) B panel of counsel. The EHRC plays a crucial role in promoting fairness, dignity, and respect for all individuals. Panel members provide advice and representation to support its legal and enforcement work in British and European courts.

This appointment builds on Saara’s long-term expertise and interest in civil liberties, equality, and human rights law. She regularly acts for individuals and public authorities in cases concerning health and social care, policing, prisons, and immigration decisions, and has a particular interest in human rights and equality issues arising from an increasing use of digital technology. She is recognised by Legal 500 as a leading junior in Administrative Law and Human Rights.
