Baroness Hallett proposes changes to the Covid-19 Inquiry Terms of Reference following consultation

12 May 2022

Today, Baroness Hallett, has written to the Prime Minister setting out her proposed changes to the Terms of Reference for the Covid-19 Inquiry.

After considering over 20,000 responses during the consultation period, she has made recommendations to expand the Terms of Reference with a focus on the unequal impact of the pandemic as a key theme running through the Inquiry. Both the covering letter and the Summary Report can be found on the Inquiry's website.  The final proposed version of the Terms of Reference is on pages 26-28 of the Report.

Summaries of the consultation meetings are also available.
