Anne Studd QC and Robert Talalay have appeared in the Court of Appeal for the Chief Constable of Surrey on an appeal on the lawfulness of administering a reprimand to a 13 year old for sexual assault. The case also included a challenge to the legality and proportionality of the scheme of retention and disclosure of cautions and convictions under the Police Act 1997 and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and was heard with 3 other cases.
