Sam and George will be running a morning event aimed at inquest and public inquiry practitioners who want to learn more about supporting and preparing witnesses.
Public inquiries and inquests are complex and often emotionally charged processes. One of the most important elements in ensuring a smooth and effective experience is the early and thoughtful support of witnesses. Whether your client is centrally involved or on the periphery, preparing the right witnesses thoroughly – and with care – can significantly influence both the process and outcome. This training session will guide you step-by-step through the key principles and practical strategies for effective witness support, covering everything from early preparation to drafting statements through to responding to PFDs and rule 13 letters.

This event will be CPD accredited.
