5 Essex Chambers welcomes Edward Barham

5 Essex Chambers is delighted to welcome Edward Barham who joins Chambers today as a tenant.

Prior to joining Chambers, Ed spent 18 years serving in the Royal Navy before moving to a large regional Police Force as in-house counsel, where he worked in the operational law team providing advice and training as well as regularly appearing in courts on behalf of the Chief Constable in a wide range of applications.

Head of Chambers, Jason Beer KC says: “We are very pleased that Ed has chosen to join us.  He already has great experience in our core areas of work.  Many Members of Chambers have worked with Ed in the past, and so we know from experience the qualities that Ed will bring to his work at 5 Essex.”.
