Thanks to the work of the Pupillage Committee, 5 Essex Chambers has been shortlisted for the 2019 LexisNexis Diversity and Inclusion Award. The Committee has been working to increase the transparency in the pupillage application process to prevent discrimination against applicants with no contacts at the Bar. Some of the initiatives that the Committee has introduced include:
