5 Essex Chambers clerking team finalists in LexisNexis Awards 2026

We are delighted to announce that our brilliant clerking team has been named a finalist in the LexisNexis Awards, having been shortlisted for the Customer Focus Award.

The Customer Focus Award recognises excellence in customer care and service, and the prioritising of client satisfaction through through personalised support, proactive communication, and tailored solutions.

We are incredibly proud of the recognition this shortlisting brings to our hardworking, dedicated clerking team, led by our Senior Clerk Mark Waller, who has been with 5 Essex Chambers for nearly 30 years. He is ably supported by Team Leaders James Cole and Dan Waple, Assistant Team Leaders Harry Cassar and Oliver Morgan and Junior Clerks Ethan Barnett and Jack Wiltshire.
