5 Essex Chambers Celebrates International Women’s Day

Today the women and men in chambers are celebrating International Women’s Day! We are lucky to have so many trailblazers and inspirational colleagues of our own and are proud of the gender balance in our team. We have topped the Legal Cheek list of chambers with the highest percentage of female QCs, and have also been nominated for the LexisNexis Diversity and Inclusion Award 2019. Georgina Wolfe of 5 Essex Chambers will be speaking at Osborne Clarke this afternoon on how it is important for both men and women to work together to close the gender gap. Georgina will appear alongside Christina Blacklaws, President of the Law Society and Carroll Barry-Walsh.
